A New Level for LYNXBYTE GAMES: Introducing Our New Brand
LYNXBYTE GAMES is expanding from game porting into remakes, remasters, full development, and long-term support for game IP.

A New Level for LYNXBYTE GAMES: Introducing Our New Brand
The games industry is changing quickly.
New platforms are opening new opportunities. Technology is changing how games are built, optimized and maintained. AI is starting to influence more parts of development. And publishers are looking for new ways to get more value from the games and IP they already own.
Over the last year, LYNXBYTE GAMES has been changing too.
We delivered more than 20 projects, grew our team, worked on bigger and more technically demanding titles, expanded our technology, and started taking responsibility for much more than just bringing games from one platform to another.
At some point, it became clear that the company we had become was no longer fully represented by the brand we had built a few years earlier.
So we decided to change it.
Not only how LYNXBYTE GAMES looks, but also how we talk about what we do and, more importantly, what we want the studio to become.
Welcome to the new LYNXBYTE GAMES.
Why rebrand now?
The simple answer is that we are not the same company anymore.
Game porting is still a major part of what we do. We have built a team, technology and production process around bringing games to PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, mobile and other platforms.
But over time, conversations with our partners started going much further.
Sometimes the question wasn't:
"Can you bring this game to another platform?"
It was:
"We have an older title that players still love. Can we bring it back?"
Or:
"We have an established IP and a community asking for another game. Can you build the next one?"
Or simply:
"You already know our game. Can you also handle the DLC, crossplay, another storefront, post-launch support and everything around the release?"
Those conversations shaped where LYNXBYTE GAMES is going next.
We want to become a studio that can help partners throughout the entire life of a game and its IP.
One studio for the whole game.
More than a new visual identity
A new logo, website and visual language are the most visible parts of the change.
But they are only the surface.
The bigger change is what sits behind them.
We have expanded LYNXBYTE GAMES around four main areas: game porting, remakes and remasters, full game development, and everything that helps an existing game reach more players and generate more value.
Bring your game to every platform
Porting remains at the core of LYNXBYTE GAMES.
We take existing games and bring them to PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, mobile, VR and other platforms.
That means much more than getting a build to launch.
Our team handles platform SDK integration, performance optimization, platform-specific features, QA, certification and the release process itself.
The goal is simple: take a game that already works and make it feel like it belongs on every new platform it reaches.
For publishers and developers, every additional platform can mean a new audience and another revenue stream without rebuilding the game internally or pulling the original team away from its roadmap.
Give your catalogue a second life
This is one of the areas we are most excited to expand.
Publishers own enormous catalogues of games that players remember, but many of those titles are effectively stuck in the past.
They run on outdated custom engines. They were designed for hardware that is now several generations old. Their UI, controls, rendering, audio or online systems may no longer meet modern expectations.
That does not mean the IP has lost its value.
Quite often, the opposite is true.
There is already a community. There is already awareness. There are already years of feedback showing what players loved and what could be improved.
Our remake and remaster work is about unlocking that value again.
We can take legacy titles built on old technology and migrate or rebuild them using modern engines such as the latest Unreal Engine, while upgrading visuals, performance, controls, UI, audio and platform features.
Depending on the title, that can mean restoring and improving the original experience or rebuilding much larger parts of the game for a new generation.
The end result is not simply an old game running again.
It is an existing IP returning to modern storefronts, modern platforms and potentially an entirely new audience.
Build the next chapter of your IP
Sometimes the opportunity is bigger than another platform or a remaster.
Sometimes players simply want more.
That is why LYNXBYTE GAMES is also expanding into full-cycle game development.
We work with publishers and IP owners to create new games based on existing franchises, worlds and communities.
Instead of starting completely from zero, we can use previous titles as a foundation.
What did players love?
What did they complain about?
Which mechanics worked?
Which ideas never reached their full potential?
What does the community want from the next game?
Those lessons can become the starting point for the next chapter.
Our goal is to handle the full development cycle, from concept and pre-production through development, QA, platform work and release.
One team, one production pipeline and one clear responsibility from the first idea to the final build.
Everything around the game
A game rarely stops needing work when development ends.
There is crossplay to implement.
DLC to build.
New storefronts to support.
WinGDK versions to prepare.
Steam Deck support.
Mobile releases.
Demos.
Updates.
LiveOps.
Certification.
Release management.
Post-launch support.
Individually, these projects may look relatively small. Together, they can consume a significant amount of an internal team's time.
This is another area where we want LYNXBYTE GAMES to become more useful to our partners.
If our team already knows the game, its architecture, its problems and its production pipeline, it often makes more sense for us to keep extending it rather than forcing the original development team to constantly switch context.
The principle behind all of these services is the same:
Get more from the game you already built.
More platforms. More players. More content. More revenue. A longer life for the IP.
Technology is changing how we build games
The other major part of this new chapter is technology.
Over the last few years, we have been developing internal tools and processes designed to make parts of game development, porting and production faster and more predictable.
AI is now accelerating that direction significantly.
We do not believe AI replaces experienced developers, artists, QA teams or producers.
We believe it changes what those teams can do.
Used properly, automation and AI can remove repetitive engineering work, accelerate analysis, help identify problems earlier and allow experienced people to spend more of their time solving the difficult parts of development.
That combination matters to us.
Great games still require experienced people making good decisions.
But those people should have better tools.
Over the coming months, we will be sharing much more about what we are building internally and how we believe these technologies can change the economics of porting, modernization and game development.
A new identity, built with Axis Labs
None of this would matter if the new brand did not actually feel like LYNXBYTE GAMES.
That is where Axis Labs came in.
We worked together across the entire rebranding process, from the visual direction and identity to the new website and digital experience.
There were a lot of discussions, references, iterations and occasionally very specific feedback that somehow still sounded like:
"It needs to feel more like us."
Axis Labs managed to turn that into something concrete.
The result feels sharper, more mature and much closer to the company we are building today.
A huge thank you to the entire Axis Labs team for the creativity, patience and work that went into making it happen.
So, what's next?
The new brand is not the end of anything.
It is a better representation of where LYNXBYTE GAMES is heading.
We are still going to port games.
A lot of them.
But we also want to bring forgotten games back, rebuild legacy titles for modern platforms, develop new chapters of existing franchises and take care of everything that can extend the life of a game after its original release.
And we want to use better technology to do all of that faster, more efficiently and at a scale that would have been difficult for a studio like ours only a few years ago.
Over the coming weeks, we will be sharing more about our projects, technology, porting process, remakes and remasters, full development work and some of the games we have been fortunate enough to work on over the last year.
There is a lot we have been waiting to show.
For now, welcome to the new LYNXBYTE GAMES.
New look. Bigger scope. Same goal: helping great games reach more players.
