Full Development

From concept to launch, built right.

We build new games on your IP, from the first prototype to release day: design, engineering, art and QA under one roof, as a dedicated team with your studio or a full outsourced build. One partner, start to finish.

Trusted by studios and publishers

Your team, or ours - or both

Three ways to build with us. Pick the one that fits your studio.

Whatever the model, you get the same senior team, clear milestones and direct access to the people writing the code.

01

Full build

We own the game end to end: design, engineering, art, QA and certification, from the first prototype to release. You set the vision and approve the milestones.

Your IP, new story to tell

Your players are waiting for the next chapter. Let’s build it.

A successful IP already has a world, a community and years of feedback about what worked. We build the next game on that foundation, turning player insights and lessons from previous releases into a new story, on new platforms.

  • Full-cycle development from concept to release
  • Every project starts with a working prototype, not a pitch deck
  • Flat fee from start to end, billed per milestone
  • Direct access to the people writing the code

What we build

Every discipline a game needs, under one roof.

Design, engineering, art and QA in one team, so nothing gets lost between vendors. Scale up for production, scale down for support.

01

Game design

Core loop, systems, progression and balance, built on what your players already love about the IP.

02

Prototyping

A playable prototype first, so you can validate the fun before committing to full production.

03

Engineering

Gameplay, tools and systems in Unreal Engine, Unity or Godot, built to ship on every target platform.

04

Art & animation

Characters, environments, VFX and animation in the art direction of your franchise.

05

UI & UX

Menus, HUD and onboarding designed for controllers, TVs, handhelds and touch from day one.

06

Multiplayer & crossplay

Online modes, crossplay and cross-save implemented and tested across platforms.

07

QA & certification

In-house testing through development and first-party certification on every console target.

08

Release & publishing

Release management and publishing support on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC.

Prototype first

Find the fun in grey boxes. Then make it beautiful.

Every project starts with a playable blockout: layout, scale, pacing and the core loop, tested before a single final asset is made. Drag to see how a greybox grows into the finished scene.

Lynci made porting far more cost-effective and easier to manage, letting us bring the release to more platforms. The game also passed certification on the first attempt - proof of how reliable the tool is.

Ewa Buczkowska

Producer | Untold Tales

Working with LYNXBYTE GAMES allowed us to successfully outsource key parts of the porting work for War Mongrels and 63 Days without compromising product quality. The collaboration reduced the workload on our internal development team while ensuring reliable technical support and efficient problem-solving throughout the projects.

AI in Lynci: How Much Is Automated, and Where People Stay in Charge

"How much of this is AI?" is the question publishers ask us most. Here is the honest answer, stage by stage: what Lynci automates in a game port, what our engineers and QA team still do by hand, and who signs off before anything ships.

Building a Game on an Existing IP? The First Step Isn't Opening the Engine

Full game development on an existing IP starts long before anyone opens Unreal or Unity. Here are the five things we focus on first - from IP analysis to production planning - and why they decide whether the new game feels right.

What we need to estimate your game

You don’t need a full design document. Even a rough idea and the IP behind it is enough to get started.

We’ll review your request and share a scoped estimate within 3 business days.

  • The IP or idea, and what players loved about previous games
  • Genre, scope and the experience you want to build
  • Target platforms and preferred engine, if you have one
  • Engagement model: full build, dedicated team or co-development
  • Existing assets, code or design documents we can build on
  • Timeline, launch window and budget range

faq

Game development
questions, answered.

What does full-cycle game development include?

Everything from concept to release: game design, prototyping, engineering, art, UI/UX, QA and certification, with release management and publishing support on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC. We work in Unreal Engine, Unity and Godot, and cover the whole build under one roof.

Can you build a new game based on our existing IP?

Yes, that is what we do best. We use your existing titles as the foundation and turn player feedback, community insights and lessons from previous releases into the next chapter of your story, whether that is a sequel, a spin-off or a new game in the same world.

Do you work as an outsourced studio or alongside our team?

Both. We can own the whole build end to end as a full external team, work as a dedicated team directly with your studio, or plug a handful of senior engineers into your existing pipeline. The senior bar is the same either way.

Why does every project start with a prototype?

Because a working prototype answers questions a pitch deck can't. It lets you validate the fun and the core loop before committing to full production, which is the cheapest moment to change direction.

How is full game development priced?

As a flat fee, agreed before we start and billed per milestone - no hourly surprises. Send us the details and you get a scoped estimate within 3 business days, free and with no commitment.

Who will we work with day to day?

Your dedicated team, a private Discord channel and a shared ClickUp project, plus a producer who always answers and a lead developer for technical questions. No account managers standing between you and the people writing the code.

Which engines and platforms do you develop for?

Unreal Engine, Unity and Godot, for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, PC stores such as Steam, GOG and the Epic Games Store, and mobile.

Tell us your engine, platforms, and target date.

Free technical assessment. First estimate in 3 business days. No commitment.
